Mayor Rhodes afraid of what public would say about tax

Mayor Rhodes afraid of what public might say about tax

We do not live in Myrtle Beach, but we do most of our shopping there, eat in the restaurants and enjoy the movie theaters the city has to offer.

I find it odd that Mayor John Rhodes, who was elected by the votes of the people who live in Myrtle Beach, does not trust these same people to vote on the tourist tax. Could it just be that he knows the people of Myrtle Beach don’t want a $300 million tourist tax? Hmmm.
