The Brexit vote must be honored

My husband and I have always voted Conservative, and as such voted David Cameron into No. 10 Downing Street.

He, for whatever reason, gave the citizens of the UK the chance to decide if we wanted to stay in Europe or leave. Why then after the referendum does he not have the fortitude to support his electorate - of whom the majority voted for independence - and stay and sort out our future?

We should have had an unbiased approach to this referendum instead of a backbiting battle of fors and againsts.
