Myrtle Beach police cars shouldn’t be ‘tricked out’

After living in Myrtle Beach for the past two years, I give law enforcement high grades against the bandits they face day in and day out. But I must ask, do we really need “tricked out” police cars, i.e. blackened out windows, thumping blue lights beneath the vehicle, etc., when just an ordinary “cop car” can do the job just as well?

With fewer bells and whistles, I'm sure a savings on some level can be achieved. Less money spent on “lights” may equal more money in the pocket for those that do right.
