Donald Trump’s McCarthism is on display once again

It was inevitable. Donald Trump has now reached down to his shoulders into the slime pit and dredged out the long ago discredited conspiracy theory that Hillary Clinton murdered Vince Foster.

It brings to mind the televised Army-McCarthy hearings in 1954 when Joseph Welch, special counsel to the U.S. Army, confronted Sen. McCarthy with:

“Have you no sense of decency, sir. At long last, have you left no sense of decency?”
