Eric Holder is wrong. Edward Snowden is clearly a traitor.

The comment that former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder made concerning Edward Snowden sent me over the top. In an interview with CNN Holder said: ... “but I think that he (Snowden) actually performed a public service by raising the debate we engaged in and by the changes we made.”

Snowden is a traitor. He exposed highly classified documents and the means by which they were gathered and may have ultimately endangered the lives of operatives and contacts. No one has to look further than his cowardly defection to Russia as proof. I'm sure Mr. Putin got all the information he needed from Snowden.

Maybe Holder should have spent more time investigating the data mining done by internet companies concerning our every move, through companies like Facebook and Google. Back in November the FCC backed off on seeking regulations to protect peoples' privacy, a win for Silicon Valley companies that sell people’s personal information and habits for profit. Why should this be considered any different than NSA's date collection?
