Milley the right choice for Horry County school board

Having served on the school board myself, I am keenly aware of the time, dedication, and plain hard work needed to represent those who place trust in the individual elected to represent their deep concerns.

Pat Milley is prepared to give it all to the Horry County school board. She would bring 24 years of classroom experience. She has a deep understanding of the whole child and realizes the classroom needs to be addressed for students and their teachers.

The elementary child needs more recess and minutes added to their lunch period. The mental health of our children should involve common sense adjustments. This could possibly allow for a parent to reduce or eliminate the use of medication for their child.

Pat believes in taking time to obtain competitive bids before building or buying. She feels that evaluating curricula to make sure that it is age and developmentally appropriate are the responsibility of the board, and that all expenditures should be closely evaluated by the board.

She will make herself available to parents in the district and desires to be a voice for the voters.
