Writer thanks those who returned purse

Recently, I went shopping at the Wal-Mart (at Middle Ridge) in Conway. As I had made quite a few purchases, it required taking the shopping cart into the parking lot to unload all the items in my car. I then navigated the cart to the cart corral and ventured home to unpack all my purchases.

Several hours later at home, I realized that I did not have my pocketbook and my thoughts turned quickly to the Wal-Mart and the shopping cart where I may have left my pocketbook. Frantic, I immediately called the Wal-Mart’s lost and found department, spoke with a customer clerk who did inform me that there was indeed a pocketbook there and that I would have to come to the store to identify it.

Yes, it was mine, untouched, unscathed, all intact. Overwhelmed I am that in this day and time, some honest, wonderful individual saw the purse and simply did the right thing and return it to its proper place, lost and found. Thank you whoever and wherever you are and God Bless both you and Wal-Mart.
