National Hospital Week, May 9-13, celebrates individuals who support the health and well-being of their communities through dedication and compassionate care. A hospital is more than a place where people go to heal, it is a part of the community that fosters health and represents hope, from providing treatment and comfort to the sick, to welcoming new life into the world.
Our staff follow the mission of our hospital daily, committed to the care and improvement of human life. Although we recognize our staff for the exceptional care they provide daily through our mission, this week gives us the opportunity to celebrate their hard work and dedication to our residents.
I would like to applaud all of our dedicated staff, physicians, nurses, therapists, engineers, food service workers, environmental services, volunteers, administrators and so many more employees for all they do to care for our patients, their families and the communities we serve.
