Re transgender Socastee student allowed to use boy's bathroom after suspension, Friday:

My oh my, how the threat of legal action is changing America! Reading the article in The Sun News that the Transgender Law Center threatened legal action against a school district was eye-opening.

In our society today, we have accepted gays as part of our society but wait, now we are subjected to, in extreme cases, surgically altered hormone treatment individuals who wish to identify with the opposite gender. We are seeing kids as young as 9 years old in the news coming out to deny their gender assigned to them at birth. Why?

For those so young, parents, many would say, are responsible. Others will say there was some error along the path of “creation.” But wait, in the Bible, Genesis 2:7 it states, that God’s last acts of creation were to form man and woman. Are we as a society now to act like God?

To myself as well as many others, it is abomination to now promote transgender bathrooms or the use of existing gender bathrooms for what biologically is the opposite sex. To me, this is like putting a wolf in sheep’s clothing, like a sexual predator in disguise, abusing young children who might be your children.

One last quote seems in order from Deuteronomy 22.5: “A woman shall not wear man's clothing, nor shall a man put on woman's clothing, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.”

Finally I have one word to describe this recent phenomenon and that is “Disgusting.”
