Re-elect Eargle for auditor

My husband and I had the privilege of residing and working in Myrtle Beach from 1997-2007. We had the opportunity of meeting and getting to know Lois Eargle, Horry County auditor. As a politician, we found her to be dedicated to the citizens of Horry County. She is truly a community leader with an excellent track record.

What's not to like about Lois Eargle? She is a person of her word; if she tells you she will help you, she does. Lois is well respected in Horry County, throughout the Pee Dee as well as the state of South Carolina. People who know Mrs. Eargle know they can depend on her to get the job done.

During the time we lived in Myrtle Beach, we were impressed with her tenacity in adding additional revenues to the county's budget by ferreting out companies and individuals who avoided paying taxes when they owed them. Not many counties have an individual like Mrs. Eargle who wants to be sure you pay what you owe.

With an open door policy, Lois helps those who come through her doors. If her department is not able to handle an issue, she finds the right people and directs them personally to them. She “walks the walk and talks the talk.” In getting to know her, she had humble beginnings; her faith has directed her family, friendships and her professional career.

Why does she continue to serve Horry County as Auditor? It's quite simple - she cares. She deserves to be re-elected.
