Jersey Mike’s thanked for charity event participation

My wife and I are snowbirds from Duxbury, Mass. On March 30 we purchased sub sandwiches at Jersey Mike’s in North Myrtle Beach. We bought the subs after reading in The Sun News that the entire proceeds at Jersey Mike’s for the day were going to local charities. We felt that such a demonstration of social responsibility was unprecedented and was worth community support.

We bought two subs and complimented the staff on this wonderful show of commitment to the community. The staff member told us that they do this one-day event every year.

I urge you - vacationers, snowbirds and locals - to support them in the future. My compliments to Jersey Mike’s for a contribution, well intended and well done.
