The Windbags thankful for chance to perform in Myrtle Beach area
On behalf of “The Windbags” - my four-piece acoustic group out of Richmond, Va. - I would like to thank Leonard, owner of Flantasy Island Tiki Bar at the Peppertree Ocean Resort; Murph, owner of Murphy’s on the Ocean (i.e., MOTO’s) in Cherry Grove; and Amy, owner of Deckerz on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach, for allowing us the privilege of playing at their establishments.
We were in town enjoying our spring break during the week of March 28 and decided to see if we could find a location to play a set or two and Leonard, Murph, and Amy were all kind enough to accommodate us.
I would also like to thank all of the folks we met at our gigs at the above locations. They were all so kind and welcoming to us. It was very gratifying and made our time in North Myrtle Beach that much more fun. Hopefully, we will be able to sneak down a couple more times this summer to enjoy your beaches, fine establishments, and good folks!
