Clinton responsible for secret email
I'm writing to respond to a progressive’s defense of Hilary Clinton with regard to the email scandal. His first point was whether if Clinton knew at the time the information was sent that it was classified. This is how the left typically muddles a situation.
Let me ask, if someone robbed a safe last week but the theft is not discovered until today, when did the crime occur? To become Secretary of State a person is vetted extensively. There are senate hearings, background checks, etc. and when confirmed they get a top secret clearance.
By nature of the job, it is understood that correspondence received and sent will be classified. Having such information on an unsecured private server is the problem. My guess is hackers around the world already have these emails and that part of the FBI investigation is assessing how much damage has already occurred.
