Bob Childs the choice in Surfside Beach
Four years ago, I was tricked into believing Doug Samples was good for the town where we choose to raise our children. I ran for his remaining time on the council. I was elected and quickly learned that if I did not do as he told me, I would be ostracized.
I worked in the New York Police Department, and have never met a person like Samples before. He berated, insulted and cursed me out in front of my children. He has lied to me, and tricked me into illegally signing a document, which would spend taxpayers’ money without a public hearing (shame on me). He told me to “shut up my husband at meetings” (violating his rights) and more.
In my opinion, I have never encountered a more divisive, angry, narcissistic and unbalanced person. My vote will be cast for change, honesty and a man that I have disagreed with in an adult and professional way. My vote is for Bob Childs, a gentleman. Doug Samples has taught me a lesson, don’t fall for the lies.
