Candidates attacked in the mail are the right choice
Once again candidates for Surfside Beach Mayor and Town Council are being subjected to anonymous hate letters.
Those who want their opinions known and aren’t afraid to have their names attached have plenty of opportunities to voice them at council meetings, in the newspapers or by running for office.
The cowards who send these anonymous letters need to be dealt with. If you feel as strongly as I do that this has to stop, please vote for the candidates that these letters attack. Perhaps if these candidates win as a backlash against these letters, the sleazy cowards who send them will stop wasting their money.
Please help wash the mud from our elections.
