Two good deeds to commend

I want to let you know of some nice deeds that were done for us. My husband, a veteran of Korea and WWII was shopping at Wal-Mart, and gathered some items totaling $20. When he got up to the checkout, the guy behind him said, “I will pay for yours.” What a wonderful act.

Then I went to Murrells Inlet for the wonderful one-man show on Mark Twain. My husband was parking the car and let me go in to pick up the tickets. When I got in the theater there was a long line. I got closer to purchasing my tickets when I remembered they did not take credit cards. I was getting closer to the purchase and realized I didn’t have enough money on me to pay cash, and was hoping my husband would appear, but as I started to panic a lady I call my angel said, “I will give you what you need.” Just as she handed me the money, my husband walked in.

The reason for this letter is to let you know people are very kind and thoughtful. Thank you to the two people who did the good deeds, and you know who you are.
