Trump the candidate offering real solutions to real problems
There are two issues which will define the United States for the future decades. The first is the decline of the middle class. The second major issue is the Syrian civil war.
Good middle class manufacturing jobs have been disappearing. Twelve million manufacturing jobs have gone to China and Mexico alone. The remaining jobs pay less for fear they will go as well. As long as the middle class manufacturing jobs decline, the country will decline. Additionally many of our other problems are caused by the loss of these jobs. The continued loss of these jobs is a cancer that continues to weaken our country and causes other problems. It will be impossible to balance budgets, fund a strong defense, maintain social security, etc if the middle class jobs continue to go overseas.
Except for Trump, all the other candidates believe changes to our tax system and deregulation will fix our economy. These tax changes will have very little impact on jobs. Most of the spending and investment created by tax cuts will go to buying things from China. The jobs are going to China due to its currency manipulation and unfair regulations.
The second major issue is the Syrian Civil War. Wars have a large impact on our society. The one thing we should have learned from our misadventures in Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan is that democracies in those countries require large numbers of U.S. troops to support and sustain them. Propping up these countries costs billions of dollars and thousands of U.S. casualties.
Why in the world would we want to do the Iraq war and occupation all over again in Syria? Cruz and Trump have both said stay out of the Syrian Civil War and let Putin be the one to get stuck there.
I want solutions to the real problems, not just a bunch of ideological rhetoric. Only Trump has said he will try to get the jobs back. Only Trump and Cruz have said they will stay out of the Syrian Civil war. This is why I will support Donald Trump for president. He may not be able to do all that I believe needs to be done, but no one else will even try.
