See past the blaze, vote for Rubio

Most Americans are unhappy. Many are upset. Some are actually angry. I get it – I’m not happy with the direction of my country either. But over and over I can hear my late mother saying, “Tom, never make a decision about anything important when you’re mad. Take a deep breath. Take a walk around the block. Sleep on it if you have to.”

Well, I’ve slept on it and I implore my fellow Republicans: please don’t make your choice on Saturday in anger. You can be mad about the direction our country is going without voting for a mad candidate.

What’s wrong with America can only be fixed by rational, thoughtful, civilized citizens led by a rational, reasonable president. Marco Rubio is young, but he is dynamic, brilliant, controlled and passionate. I am confident he is best prepared to lead even angry people into a new American century.
