Train male refugees to defend their nation
There is much debate about should we accept Muslim refugees from Iraq and Syria. We need to vet them completely, but we are a nation of immigrants. In our history we have asked our young people to defend our freedom and our country. There is an alternative to sending our military to Syria and Iraq.
Many of the refugees are young men between the ages of 18 and 35.We should consider asking them to fight to defend their country also. We establish a basic training camp at one or more of our military bases and after vetting the young Muslim men, they would go to the training camp to be trained to defend their country from the terror organizations. Certainly we may inadvertently train a future terrorist, but the net effect would be positive. When they are trained they would be sent back to integrate into the army of their country to fight the terrorists.
If the Muslim men would not do this, they and their families would be sent back.
