Writer wants cell-free zones
At an eye doctor’s office I visit, there is a sign at the door forbidding cell phones. At the desk there is a second “no cell phones” sign.
It only took five minutes before a woman was talking loudly on her cell phone. Shortly after she went into the examination room, two more people began loud conversations on their cell phones. What has happened to manners in our society?
There should be “cell phone free zones,” just like no-smoking areas. Why is it that so many people don't feel that the rules apply to them?
