Horses on the beach are a spectacular sight
We were on the beach the Saturday of the horse beach ride and it was a spectacular sight. There were only a few people sitting on the beach along with us and the horses were very well controlled.
To see the horses walking along the shoreline, sometimes with their hooves in the surf, sometimes actually playing in the water, was fantastic. It was a sight I had never seen before. It doesn't happen often in one's lifetime to be able view the beauty of the animal and rider enjoying the soft sand and surf of our glorious beaches.
We plan to be sitting out there again next year. The event was well planned and for such a good cause. And I saw no horse droppings on the beach by the next weekend.
