Senior citizens thank Myrtle Beach police officers for help
I am the activity director at Stanly Manor Nursing Facility in Albemarle, N.C. and just this past week, I was able to bring three residents down from our community. One resident commented that it could very well be her last opportunity to come to Myrtle Beach.
With all that is wrong in the world, we saw an example of all that is right. The Myrtle Beach Police Department assisted us with the special beach wheelchairs we needed to help make their experience of the wind and waves that much more enjoyable. For the things we take for granted, these individuals were able to enjoy a moment of their youth again, to feel free from the constraints of their handicaps and aging bodies.
Thanks again MBPD, our Stanly Manor residents will be forever grateful.
