Man wants free golf returned for elderly at Whispering Pines
Five months after having problems with my knees and many injections, I gave my first try to play golf at Whispering Pines Golf Course. I was told that free play for over 90-year-olds was canceled by the new people managing the course.
From what I remember, the course was sold to Myrtle Beach by the Air Force with the understanding that anyone over 90would play free. How can the new people change this offer? I am veteran of WW II and am 92 years old.
I would like the mayor and the Myrtle Beach City Council to change that ruling at Whispering Pines Golf Course. There are not too many players who are over 90 who play every day of every week or 18 holes.
