Jeffcoat, Render, Chestnut get voter support
Render and Chestnut for MB council
When all the verbal dust has cleared, and the rhetoric is gone, the two candidates who stand out as the best to represent us, the citizens of Myrtle Beach, are Dr. Phil Render and Mike Chestnut. They are by far the best of all the candidates running for City Council. When looking at their record of accomplishments for the past four years, they fulfilled all the promises they made, that is over a period of time reduced residential property taxes by 80 percent; the widening and beautification project along 3rd Avenue South; hired more police officers that reduced crime rate in the city by 30 percent; installed over $51 million in stormwater management projects, reducing and eliminating the flooding areas.
It goes without saying, when elected officials keep their promises; work industriously for the good of the community; are people who listen to their constituents, and do the job they were elected to do, isn't it best to return them to office? For me, I believe it is.
Having a good appreciation by knowing an individual is doing a good job, it is always best to vote for them, rather than voting for someone who promises you the world, and delivers hot air. For the job of City Council, keep Render and Chestnut, they are competent and proven leaders.

Elect Jeffcoat to MB council
It is time for a dedicated, conscientious, and community-minded person, Mary Jeffcoat, to be elected to the City of Myrtle Beach City Council. Mary Jeffcoat served Myrtle Beach as a council person, but due to religious and family duties had to forego any additional service terms in office. Mary served formerly with honor and decorum; she served without bias or prejudice, and now she steps forward with business and political wisdom and experience to serve again.
I have known Mary Jeffcoat and her husband, Allen, for years. I have never heard a disparaging or critical word about their community service or business dealings; all work is above board, fair, and thoughtful. Everyone needs to consider voting for Mary Jeffcoat in this City Council election.
A vote for Mary will be a vote for a better and balanced family-oriented and business-oriented city government. Mary listens to her constituents, the voters, and she will respond to our needs and wishes.
