Issac Bailey report shows there is no justice for all
Re: Sept. 24 letter from Diane Streett, “The Sun News, Bailey need to unite not divide.”
Your comments regarding Issac Bailey’s report titled “Reasonable Doubt?” are beyond the pale. Do you doubt that only a black man could be convicted on the basis of a witness who not only was a drug addict but also recanted her testimony?
You want him to talk about uniting us when the most important institution of the country, justice, has different standards for blacks and whites? The sad truth is that 50 years after Martin Luther King we still don’t have justice for all! I give you my reaction to Issac’s report. Put the judge in jail.
The irony is that people like you would be screaming bloody murder if the shoe was on the other foot. Shame on you!
