Time-Warner south end black-out of UNC-TV not fair to customers

KRT

I am writing this letter out of frustration. We are Time Warner Cable customers in the 29575 south end ZIP code and can’t get UNC-TV, which the rest of Myrtle Beach gets.

I am sure some will say this is no big deal, but UNC-TV is a PBS station and if you are in favor of decent TV programs you also may be a fan. I have contacted TWC Corporate and the FCC to no avail. Of course if we switched to a satellite company that would solve the problem, but we should not have to do that.

I contacted the office of UNC-TV to find out if it is possible to get their station down here, and was told it’s available all over the country. If any one else cares about this, I will look forward to letters on the Opinion page.
