Stop Trump before it’s too late

Actor Andrew Garfield recently said in an interview, “There is a very sick, toxic system that is pitting us against each other as human beings and keeping us as far away from each other as possible. Donald Trump is the perfect example of that. He’s the cheerleader of the system we’re in right now. He’s all about exile, he’s all about inhumanity — that’s what he’s running on: inhumanity, lack of empathy, and lack of compassion. He’s running on just the darkest impulses in our human nature, that is OK with others suffering.”

I could not agree more. Something is really rotten about a political system that would allow such an insensitive egomaniac as Donald Trump to go this far in running for president. Most people are saying that he is a joke and he will soon disappear, however they thought that about Hitler too.

My father had a friend who was able to get out of Germany just before Hitler took over, and he said that he didn’t take Hitler seriously when he was reaching for power – that he thought he was crazy. However, suddenly it was too late. He said no one should ever stand by casually when a mean, insensitive, prejudiced person is rising in political popularity. Everyone who sees it should stand up and be heard, because this is a truly dangerous thing that could once again destroy the soul and future of any nation.
