With unemployment at 5%, why so worried about immigrants?

KRT

I scratch my head when I hear about politicians complaining about illegal immigrants taking American jobs. With the unemployment rate at 5 percent, nineteen of twenty Americans are employed, so where's the problem? We can all see the immigrants working hard at the arduous construction and farming jobs that we would prefer to leave to others.

I just want to be sure these immigrants pay their share of Social Security and Medicare taxes, so those of us nearing retirement can feel more financially secure. We should deport the murderers and rapists (we have enough of those already!), but let's keep the rest.
