Parents’ actions show how it should be done

This past Thursday, as I was relaxing in my vehicle while my wife was shopping in Hobby Lobby in North Myrtle Beach, I observed a simple but wonderful event.

This is the way I saw it: A family consisting of a father, mother and two beautiful little girls, came to the corner of PetSmart and got on their bicycles that had been parked in the bike rack. As they prepared to leave, the father took the lead to guide and protect his family from whatever happenings may lie ahead.

One little girl immediately followed her dad, while the mother had to usher the other in line so mom could take the rear to offer a buffer of protection if needed.

What lucky little girls. They won’t need some big government to control and take care of them, and I think the odds are that they both turn out as assets to humanity. Our once-great nation was built on families like this.

We should not abide with any government and godless part of society that seeks to destroy the natural parental role.

May God bless and watch over this family.
