GOP establishment strategy: ‘Dump Trump, push Bush’
The GOP Establishment has a simple strategy: “Dump Trump and push Bush.”
“Money is the mother’s milk of politics.” Candidates cannot survive on small donations — they must have Big Money sources to buy TV ads and pay for the ground game. Always follow the money!
The Big Money coming to Carly Fiorina, et al, is intended to “Dump Trump.” If they succeed, the Big Money will “Push Bush” and donations to Fiorina, et al, will dry up.
Elections are no longer about “what’s good for America.” It’s all about what’s good for Big Money. Everything else is a side show. Self-funding Trump is the bane of Big Money. They can’t buy him; that’s why they’ll use and abuse anyone they can to defeat him. Then, you’ll get what they pay for — or not.
