Beware: Karma will come calling for those who mistreat animals

Submitted file photo

This is an open letter to the heartless individual in the red car (and you know who you are) who chose to abandon, and not find a no-kill shelter, the beautiful little black kitten at noon recently in the field behind Olive Garden on U.S. 501.

What were you thinking? It was a heat index of 100 degrees that day. Where is your heart and mind? I’m thinking you have neither because I saw the results of your actions that day, “Kismet” (Turkish word, for fate or destiny) is now awaiting a family who will give him the love and care he deserves, but never got from you . . . may Karma follow you, and all the others like you all the days of your life.
