Letter | Time to pray - and bring our boys home from Iran
Bring our boys home from Iran
A plea to America:
If you have a heart, never forget that we have three known American citizens who are being held, beaten and tortured in Iranian prisons: Pastor Saeed Abedini (2012), Former U.S. Marine Amir Hekmati (2011) and retired FBI agent Robert Levinson (2007).
I have been told there is a fourth, but have no name or confirmation yet.
Our government had an opportunity to free our American citizens while negotiating the Iran nuclear deal but didn’t. Can you imagine if your son, your brother, your husband, was one of these men?
What can you do? Write your Congressmen and pray. On Saturday, Sept. 26 at noon, there will be a worldwide prayer vigil to pray for them and to pray for unity in our country, our veterans and our men and women in uniform here and abroad.
The local event will be at the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex Amphitheatre, 150 Citizens Circle, Little River.
Come in numbers to pray. Let our government hear voices that refuse to let any American be left behind and forgotten.
Dianne Hardman, North Myrtle Beach
