Why not ‘Portapotties’ for bears, too?

Tom Murray for The Sun News

My wife and I live only a few hundred feet from the proposed paving and completion of International Drive, (Hillsbourough).

And yes, bears do poop in the woods, they also find food when they are hungry, and will cross International Drive wherever they please, regardless of where they put the tunnels. And who is going to teach them to use the tunnels?

I am very disappointed at the antics and stalling tactics of Nancy Cave, the director of the Conservation League. The next thing she’ll want to do is install “Portapotties” for the bears to use. I hope Ms. Cave is chosen to teach the bears how to use them.
