AP

National Constitution Week, Sept.17-23, is a good time for all of us to come together to celebrate and reflect on what the Constitution means to our country. It is the greatest document of the United States and has served us well, it has made America the greatest nation on earth and the envy of the whole world.

Join the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) as we celebrate and pay homage to this great document “Our Constitution.” Bring your children and let them learn some of its history. The free event will be at 10 a.m. Sept. 12 in Wilkes Hall at the 1st Presbyterian Church, Grissom Parkway.

Mrs. Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Betsy Ross will attend. along with the Long Bay Society CAR for a Salute to the 13 colonies, and the Coastal Carolina Chamber Choir directed by Frances Sinclair.
