Letter | Want to hear the truth about sin in Myrtle Beach and the nation? Come to my church
Calvary pastor speaks truth about sin
Re Aug. 11 letter, “Ministers and Rabbis are failing the country - and so are the rest of us,” by Jack Brandmahl.
You definitely are attending the wrong church, Mr. Brandmahl. Our pastor is vehemently against all the atrocities going on in the world today that so many take in stride as “changing times.” He teaches solely from the Bible, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, without sparing the feelings of people the way the “feel good” sermons so many of the clergy preach to keep their followers coming back.
If you are offended, don’t come.
The Lord’s word is all we should be following, not the politicians seeking political correctness and votes. My pastor is diligent in that he let’s all know what we as Christians need to do. He travels to conferences and Washington, D.C., to speak with our representatives and is not afraid to speak the truth about same-sex marriage, sexual preference, abortion, Planned Parenthood - as you mentioned, Cecil the lion has gotten more press than the abominations of fetal parts sales - as well as bisexual and transgender people.
The word of God is referenced in all.
We all need to show the love of Christ to all but not accept sin in any form.
God bless you, and we invite you to attend our service at Calvary Chapel.
