Letter | Here is a simple solution to the Myrtle Beach tent ban controversy
Tent ban solution
For every family that writes a letter to The Sun News, there are probably dozens more that just quietly go somewhere else over this tent ban on the beach. It is time for this elitist Myrtle Beach City Council to admit they made a mistake and correct it.
If these tents were required to be approximately 20 feet to the rear of any lifeguard stand line they would not interfere with their vision.
There is a lot of competition for tourist dollars, and this seems an easy compromise.
