Letter | Tyler Servant made the right choice on Confederate flag; Russell Fry did not

Servant, a voice of reason

When Russell Fry declared in public and on TV he would have voted with the governor and other state leaders to remove the flag, I was very

surprised. Up until that time, I supported Fry.

I think he is a good person and a loyal Horry County Republican. However, these are the issues that were of concern to me.

I think the voters should have been able to express their opinion in a non-binding referendum, as does Fry’s opponent, Tyler Servant.

Does anyone know why Donald Trump is so popular? It is because people are tired of exactly what Fry said.

Your vote determines if you want a voice of reasoning or one that is part of an establishment that dictates his every move.

I would go for a voice of reasoning, and I would vote for Servant.
