Charleston community responsesparks pride in South Carolinians

I’m pushin’ 70 now, and I’ve seen much history in my life. Nothing, ever, has had such an impact in all my years as those people, those wonderful South Carolina people, on the Ravenel Bridge who held hands and said “This is how we riot in Charleston.”

My condolences to all the family members of the deceased. Your feelings, actions and forgiveness make me proud to be an American, and especially, a South Carolinian.
