Tax increases might force me to leave

In a time of every increasing tax revenues, Myrtle Beach raised my property taxes last year by almost 20 percent. This year, Horry County Council will raise my property taxes by 10 percent.

No community can prosper with these kinds of increases every year. We need to vote out these legislators that cannot live within a budget and elect people who will not raise taxes.

Don’t make me move to Florida.
