Scary to think of where suggestion would lead
Re: May 12 letter, “We need to know what new Horry County Schools book teaches about Christianity,” by Patricia Milley.
If enough parents and “interested citizens” did come in to “scrutinize” the books that are being taught to our school-age children and they felt the books were inappropriate, then what?
Put these books on the banned book list?
Or, perhaps a book burning?
People like you, Ms. Milley, scare me.
