Let’s not reward bad behavior at Bikefest

As I read The Sun News on a daily basis, there is much talk about the bike rally. As a retired police officer and an Army vet there are some things that need to be mentioned.

If the Memorial Day parade is going to be changed there should be some conditions. We, the taxpayers of this state, need to be protected. If we have to foot the bill for this rally, they need to obey the law. If bikers destroy property, walk out without paying for their meals, the county should make good for it.

Let’s not forget the waiters, waitresses. If we are going to cater to this rally, they need to be held accountable for their behavior. If this rally fails to meet a higher standard, then we need to rethink this decision. If our people in government don't have the courage to protect our interests, they need to be voted out, forthwith.
