Changing sign makes little sense

I would like to know who's bright idea it was to change the stop sign on Seaboard by the Planet Fitness.

For the 18 years we have lived here, it had always been that the cars coming off U.S. 17 Bypass and out of Lowes had the right of way. Now we have to stop and can't see around the curve and bushes to turn left coming out of Lowes, an accident waiting to happen.

Was it because not enough accidents or tickets were happening?

Whatever the reason, I don't think one had his head screwed on tight enough. Learn to leave well enough alone and change it back.
