Conway Hospital’s fitness center decision will hurt health of residents
Well, we had our feet pulled right out from under us at the Conway Wellness and Fitness Center as we all received our letters in the mail that the Conway Wellness and Fitness Center is no more as of August 1st.
The Conway Hospital has decided to turn our workout center into the hospital laundry area.
One would think that fitness is very important to our well being. Well that isn’t the case where the Conway Hospital is concerned. It doesn’t seem to matter that the Wellness Center is composed of many senior members who are trying to keep themselves fit, as well as the social aspect for many of the members.
First the hospital closes the child care and we lose the young members because they have nowhere to house their children for that hour or two and now they are closing their doors to everyone else. Shame on you Conway Hospital.
Thank you so much to the administration, board of directors or anyone else that had a role in this matter, for taking away one very important thing in our lives whether we are young or old — Exercise and fitness
