Letter | ‘Pardon My Plant’ comic strip not funny to those fighting cancer
I am writing regarding the Pardon My Planet “comic” strip that appeared in your paper on April 10.
As a person who has a sister dealing with life threatening cancer issues, I found this strip the most disgusting and distasteful thing I have ever seen.
I sincerely hope Mr. Vic Lee, author of the strip, never has to himself or any member of his family endure any form of cancer. But if he does, I wonder if he will feel like he is ‘buttering the bread” of his doctors? I really hope that this letter appears in print and that Mr. Lee can see it or be made aware of his gross disrespect to all cancer sufferers and their families.
