The story on the homeless was completely biased. I was really disappointed with Issac Bailey's story. I use to respect his writings more than I do now. His views seemed biased.

The homeless situation in Myrtle Beach really needs help.

I've been a resident of Street Reach during these current changes, and the director, Brenda Ryan, and New Directions director, Kathy Jenkins, have an open door policy and are making some positive changes.

Drug and alcohol testing is one. Improvements to the building and a resident advisory committee to help is also a giant step forward. The rehab program needs improvement, but I graduated the drug and alcohol program and it and Jesus Christ have kept me sober.

Without the help of Street Reach and Little River Medical Center, I might still be living on the street - or dead.

The writer lives in Myrtle Beach.
