The Sun News changes ideal, necessary
During journalism classes in junior high and high school, our teacher constantly pounded one idea in our heads.
"If you can't tell the story in the first two paragraphs, you have lost the reader."
This is one of the reasons I like the new format in The Sun News. If I want to read more about the article, there are resources at my fingertips. If I want the scores of late games, I have my smart phone and an app call Yahoo Sports.
My wife scoffs at the idea that I buy a newspaper every day. I just like the feel of a paper in the early morning. She, on the other hand, is connected at the hip with her iPad. I understand that business and technology are changing daily.
We must keep in step with the changes or be left behind.
