Real estate fees unfair to part-time residents
Once again North Myrtle Beach and South Carolina are putting it to secondary residence owners.
Not only do we pay more than two times the property tax rate of locals and they increase our property values without cause or reason, but our flood insurance fee is going to be $250 compared to the locals $50.
We have owned a secondary residence/condo in this area for more than 20 years and have recommended this area to our friends.
No more.
Why not give us a break? We spend a lot of money here?
