DSS workers help save the lives of children

I am a volunteer guardian ad litem in Horry County. We are advocates for abused and neglected children and work alongside caseworkers from the S.C. Department of Social Services.

I want to give accolades to DSS for all its hard work. They work tirelessly, and with compassion.

Also, I give thanks to all who work for the guardian ad litem program. Only because of these two agencies our children are living in good and living homes, many for the first time in their lives.

No matter what our profession, there will always be good, and not so good workers. This is just human nature.

However, I believe in giving credit where credit is due.

I give thanks to DSS workers for all their hard work. They truly have a God-given talent.
