Black Lives Matter should help others, and work

After reading Miami Herald columnist Leonard Pitts Jr.’s column, in which his hatred for President Trump shows loud and clear, I had an idea for something useful he and ESPN personality Jemele Hill can do: As The Sun News subscribes to his syndicated column, maybe you could recommend that he use this powerful platform to suggest that the Black Lives Matter folks mobilize and head on down to south Texas and Florida to assist with the hurricane cleanup efforts. Ms. Hill could send the same message from her microphone at ESPN.

I realize this would mean that BLM would have to give up their protesting activities for awhile, but maybe during the (unusual) experience of actually working, they’ll find something else to be offended about. Or, just maybe a few individuals might discover that the pride of work and accomplishment and helping others is better than a welfare check?
