Re-elect experienced, effective NMB leader
The business world understands the need to be consistent in their policies and work processes. Improvement can only come from maintaining a consistent approach and finding best practices to make incremental changes for the better. Our government agencies need the same approach.
North Myrtle Beach has enjoyed a very stable government leadership, starting with the mayor and city manager, who have been in their positions for several years. Many of the support staff, managerial and administrative, have been in place for a similar period of time. We do not see scandals that plague other local governments coming from North Myrtle Beach officials. Our government has built, and operates, several sports facilities while maintaining favorable tax rates for residents and businesses. The city offers a very friendly business environment to new and existing business. The safety of residents and tourists is a major priority, and they have been very successful in providing a safe environment.
North Myrtle Beach City Council plays a major part in the administration of the city. Bob Cavanaugh has been part of that council for several terms and has been one of the most stable contributors to our success. Bob will be asking for us to support his re-election bid in November.
His background and qualifications make him an ideal candidate.
Harold Wiegel, North Myrtle Beach
